Manchester Museum are winners at the British Archaeological Awards

Congratulations to Manchester Museum, who's Lindow Man: a bog body mystery exhibition (Apr 2008-Apr 2009) won Best Archaeological Innovation award in the 2010 British Archaeological Awards.

Lindow ManLindow Man: a bog body mystery looked at the discovery of the preserved body of a man in a peat bog at Lindow Moss, Cheshire, in 1984. Seven people provided different perspectives on the life and death of a man who returned to us after nearly two thousand years.

The exhibition was made possible through the generous support of the Heritage Lottery Fund, the Wellcome Trust, Renaissance in the Regions, The Foyle Foundation, the Dorset Foundation and the NWDA.
