Sustaining Museums, Sustaining Communities

This year's LitHouses conference will take place at The Wordsworth Trust, Grasmere on Thursday 14 and Friday 15 October.

The second day has been developed by the LitHouses group and will focus on 'Visitors and Volunteers' with particular reference to literary houses.

There is no cost for attendance on Thursday 14th but there is a charge of £35 made by LitHouses for attendance on Friday 15th. A limited number of free places are available through Renaissance North West for museum staff from the region to attend both days of the conference
