After graduating from The University of Birmingham with a BA in English in July 2006 I divided my time between a series of slightly soul destroying temp jobs and some voluntary work placements in the arts. After gaining some experience at KinoFilm, I was lucky enough to get a three week placement here working on the 2007 Family Friendly Film Festival. This three week placement turned into a summer of volunteer work and I haven’t really left since!
In September 2007, I started working here on a part time basis as the Family Friendly Assistant to provide support for the Family Friendly projects and to work on AAM’s public facing websites, whilst also volunteering for Noise Festival one day a week. Then in June 2008, I began working full time as the Online Marketing Assistant, focusing on the Family Friendly, Family Friendly Merseyside and ArtsList websites. I also provided support for the Family Friendly Film Festival in 2008 and 2009.
Since then I have gained a lot more experience in the field of digital marketing and become the Online Marketing Officer for All About Audiences. I would be happy to discuss our range of digital services with you at any time, so please do get in touch!
