B Hunter

Digital Development Manager

While undertaking my undergraduate studies at the University of Manchester I began volunteering for Manchester Pride during the 2003 EuroPride festival. After graduating I joined Visit Manchester as a Researcher. In 2005 I was then promoted to the position of Bid and Marketing Executive where I was responsible for managing key initiatives and campaigns within the Business Tourism team. In this role I gained experience in design, copy writing, account management, marketing and project management.

Due to an increasing interest in digital marketing and my long established love of new technologies, I began a Social Media MA at the University of Salford in 2009. This has involved projects with St Ann’s Hospice and LGBT Youth North West to help develop their use of social network sites. In the same year I was also shortlisted for a Manchester Blog Award.

I joined the Marketing Services team at All About Audiences as Digital Development Manager in February 2010; this is the perfect role for me as it allows me to combine my passion for arts with my self-confessed geekiness. I’m looking forward to developing the organisation’s digital services to ensure they are effective, efficient, engaging and sustainable for all clients and for the audience.
