Our Mission

To increase the North West cultural sector’s knowledge and practice of audience development by providing:

• professional expertise in audience development

• objective, robust research and intelligence

• opportunities for collaboration and sharing information

• support for collective campaigns and joint initiatives

• knowledge of what works, based on tried and tested models

• strategic thinking underpinned by practical delivery

• guidance on corporate governance and board development

Our Aims

Provide Evidence and Impact: the Agency will be a thinker and analyst. It will make sense of what is already there, gather new intelligence, understand the bigger picture, and provide evidence-based thinking.

Build Connections and Collaborations: the Agency will be an ambassador, host, initiator and helper. It will be a voice at the table, provide space for networks, develop new collaborations and assist others to grow audiences and engagement.

Increase Engagement: the Agency will be a consultant, adviser and critical friend. It will provide strategic guidance, help organisations to develop capacity, share best practice and support collective activity.
